Since 2015

Company Foundation

Étienne Bérard began his career working for his father in the crushing industry. In 2003, he acquired Les Services TMT, a company specializing in crushing and screening. After obtaining certificates in project management and site management from the University of Calgary in Alberta, he returned to Quebec to pursue studies in engineering.

In 2015, he founded Soudure et Mécanique Plan B to finance his studies while growing his business in the demolition and mining sectors, positioning it as a leader in welding and industrial mechanics through his commitment to ethics, integrity, and excellence.

The First Steps

We started by offering our services with a mobile unit, and as demand from clients grew along with their immediate needs, it became necessary to rent a workshop, which is the facility we currently occupy.

Growth

Soudure et Mécanique Plan B experienced significant growth, taking on more complex projects and acquiring all the necessary and important tools, including an overhead crane, plasma table, and other equipment. In 2019 and 2020, we added two more fully equipped mobile units to our fleet, which stand out for their versatility and ability to meet all the client’s work requirements.
